EEP represents devastated family of Paterson NJ resident and restaurant owner killed by a speeding vehicle
Friday, June 3rd, 2022
Yesterday morning, EEP founding partner John Elefterakis held a press conference on Main Street in Paterson, New Jersey.
On May 17th, at this location, an out of control vehicle struck and killed our client, leaving behind a grieving family. Today, we called for answers from the City of Paterson as our preliminary investigation has uncovered evidence that a high speed police chase may have led to this deadly situation occurring.
While police chases are sometimes appropriate, they can never unnecessarily put the safety of the public at risk.
We’re calling on local officials and New Jersey’s Attorney General to investigate whether failing to cease an active pursuit contributed to our clients tragic death.
