Melissa Magill is a tried and true New Yorker having been born and raised in Staten Island. She attended the College of the Holy Cross where she studied history and was a NCAA division one athlete. After college, Melissa returned to New York and attended St. John’s University School of Law. As a law student, Melissa interned at EEP learning valuable skills related to the practice of law and counseling clients. It was during this time that Melissa learned that personal injury law is truly about helping those in their greatest time of need.
Melissa then went on to represent both municipal and private defendants in personal injury actions. Through these experiences, Melissa honed her craft litigating hundreds of complex cases involving claims of medical malpractice, dental malpractice, wrongful death, malicious prosecution, false arrest, automobile accidents and premises liability.
After years of defense work, Melissa realized how much she missed helping others through the practice of law. She is excited to come back to her roots at EEP and use the skills she has learned throughout her career to advocate for the seriously injured.
