Taylor received a B.A. in Spanish from New York University, an M.A. in Journalism from New York University, and her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.

Before enrolling in law school, Taylor worked for New York State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright as Communications Coordinator. At Brooklyn Law School, Taylor was on the Moot Court team, Appellate Division, participated in the National Veterans Law Competition, and worked for the New York City Criminal Court as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Josh Hanshaft.

Taylor is admitted in the State of New York and the State of Texas. Taylor is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
