Kiefer is a dedicated and persuasive attorney who takes a hands-on approach with his clients and passionately advocates on their behalf.

Prior to joining the team at EEP, Kiefer litigated in private practice sharpening his litigation skills in state and federal court where he focused his practice in a number of areas including medical malpractice, premises liability and general liability. Additionally, he prosecuted civil rights actions against the City of New York and the NYPD for wrongful arrest, excessive force and wrongful conviction. Most recently, he worked diligently in providing a voice for victims of sexual abuse as children by representing them in actions under the Child Victims Act. He is well versed in all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.

Kiefer received his Bachelors degree from West Virginia University School of Music prior to obtaining his J.D. from Quinnipiac University. During his time at Quinnipiac University, he worked tirelessly in the Civil Justice Clinic advocating for transgender rights, specifically in the military and prisoner context. He is licensed to practice in New York and the United State District Court in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York.
